Houses and Housing
As architects, designing homes is one of our greatest joys and responsibilities. Our houses are where we spend the majority of our lives – they need to be practical and functional, to accommodate the life and change that takes place in them, and sometimes they need to express our personality and the essence of who we are.
We have secured planning permissions for new houses in the countryside, designed high density urban housing and worked with private and commercial clients to retrofit and reimagine existing homes.
From the refurbishment of single houses to the design of whole neighbourhoods, our knowledge of the history of domestic architecture allows us to draw on a wide range of references and understand the sensitive and historic contexts for new development.
